Project Description

ARAMARK

Duda|Paine is a single-studio who’s culture collaborates with clients to shape extraordinary places. Overlap and cross-pollination are essential to how they work. Research, analysis, and exploration inform everything they do. They use art and materials to connect people and places.

“Beyond the Building” takes a deep dive into the culture of Duda|Paine through various mixed styles of interviews and visuals.

Interview filming setup in modern office with production crew and equipment.
Film crew working on video production set with lighting and camera equipment.
Professional video production setup with camera operator and lighting in studio environment.

“WHEN TAKING ON ANY PROJECT, THERE IS THIS EXCITING PROCESS OF BUILDING SOMETHING FROM NOTHING.”

There are times when you want to say something very specific and you build off of that, or you compile a story from a thread of different, organic interview sound bites.

Beyond the building was the latter. Each person brought their own unique perspective of their experience, time, and talent within the company.

There was a common shared artistic process with Duda | Paine and our production team. A process of exploring, “Let’s try this. Oh, that’s interesting, let’s add to that by trying this.”

And you keep building off this idea, by trying different things. While this is a similar process to their line of work, it’s through this creative exploration you find such rewarding outcomes.
